Arbus has completed the installation of vehicle safety fencing and parapet systems on the new A29 Felpham-Bognor Regis Relief Road.
The Felpham-Bognor Relief Road is part of the Bognor Regis Northern Relief Road project (the other part is the North Bersted Relief Road), whose purpose is to provide access to 700 new homes at Blake’s Mead and help ease traffic congestion in the area. The Felpham-Bognor Relief Road is the larger component of the project, costing an estimated £26 million.
Contracted by civil engineering company John Reilly, Arbus has installed vehicle safety fencing and vehicle parapet systems on the Felpham-Bognor Relief Road. The work showcases our range of specialist fencing services. As vehicle safety system specalists, we also installed safety fencing and culvert handrails.
The Felpham-Bognor Relief Road is 3km in length and features a striking viaduct that rises eight metres above the Lidsey Rife, the Barnham to Bognor rail line and the Bognor Regis flood plain. The road is now open to motorists.
