The Challenge
The M1 Junction 19 project was one of the largest endeavours undertaken by Arbus since its founding. As a result, we saw this as an opportunity to purchases and utilise some of the most modern technologies within the fencing industry.
One of our flagship machines was our Orteco Rig’s. In this situation, these high-tech tools mean we can install large quantities of posts safely and efficiently in incredibly short periods of time.
The Solution
Arbus have been involved in this project right from the tendering stage. In this case we've been responsible for the supply and installation of the safety barrier and parapet systems on the junction.
In addition we installed the general fencing, environmental noise barrier and other civil works.
The Result
In conclusion, the M1 Junction 19 Improvement Scheme was classed as a major project by the government. Working day and night to get each section finished to schedule was key to winning the works.
We worked across the country day or night and as a result, we have been able to meet the tight deadlines with ease.
