SmartRaft solving problems again! The project on the A161 in Nottinghamshire completed in conjunction with @Tarmac in May presented a few challenges with underground services and manhole covers on the VRS line. We were able to custom design SmartRaft foundations to accommodate the on site constraints. Traditionally this type of project would have taken upwards of a month to carefully hand dig individual foundations to prevent damaging the underground services and most importantly ensure the safety of the workforce. With SmartRaft this circa 455m project was completed in just 6 nights.
