The Project

Kier: Surrey Term Maintenance Contract

The Surrey Term Maintenance Contract has been at the backbone of our operations for the most recent years. Presently, the annual value of the contract is around £1 million. Of which, most of that value goes towards new schemes and repairs of the existing assets.

The Challenge

When we are involved in new installation works within Surrey, we are often the designers for the project as well as the installers.

So, this means that we undertake RRRAP assessments on the proposed barrier locations. We then submit CAD drawings of the recommended system for the type of road and hazards within the area of concern.

The Solution

We also worked closely with Kier to ensure crash repair works are attended and undertaken as soon as possible.

Running this project from our Chichester depot in West Sussex, we have easy access to the whole county.

Within both depots, we maintain a substantial stock of safety barriers which enables us to meet tight response deadlines with crash repairs.

The Result

Alongside this, we also undertake maintenance works across Surrey including re-tensioning schemes, GIS mapping and extensive condition based surveys.

We also utilise our parapet, temporary and general fencing departments within Surrey to help solve numerous and unique problems our client encounters.
